The Feasibility phase of the project includes the accumulation of information to support the Design Input for the product. Design Input is primarily supported with detailed Customer Requirements and a preliminarily developed Product Specification. The hazard assessment work begins during the Feasibility phase and includes preliminary drafts to the Risk Management Plans. Relevant data and information on similar and predicate projects which may impact design or manufacturing process should be reviewed and considered by the team, as appropriate. The supporting functions will produce draft versions of their respective project deliverables in preparation for the final design that will be developed in the Development Phase.
